Come join the Historic Overnight Wagon Train and it is fun and exciting. We meet you at The National Historic Trails Center in Casper . You follow us out to the horses and wagons on the trail. You get on the Historic Wagons and or horses and mules,you ride the actual trails as we tell stories of Wagon Trains on the Oregon Trail and California trails, Mountain Men ,Pony express riders and Indian battles ,. You go into the Indian Village on the platte river for a Dutch Oven cook out and then after spending the night in the painted Indian lodges or Historic covered wagons we have breakfast on the fire. We talk about the Indians painting on the tipis, harness up the teams and saddle up the horses and ride out to the trail head about 9 ish . If you need to be out earlier we can get up earlier .
